Every feature that exists today is free during the beta. Paid plans start later, and we'll tell you well before anything changes. A free tier with limited uploads and reports will remain.
No card, no checkout, no automatic charges. When the beta ends you choose whether to continue on a paid plan or stay on the free tier.
During the beta, documents are read by an AI service on a free tier, and its provider may use them to improve its models. Upload only documents you are comfortable testing with.

Beta and pricing
FinScope is free during the beta. After the beta there will be two paid plans, Starter and Pro, priced in US dollars. The planned prices are $35 and $99 a month, and you can see them on the pricing page.

No. There is no payment method on file during the beta. If you want to keep using FinScope after it ends, you will choose a plan yourself.
That is the plan: your Library, reports and Vault are meant to stay as they are when paid plans start. During the beta, features can change and data may be reset with notice, as set out in the Terms.

There is no cap on beta places. Anyone can join the free beta and start uploading.
